The Puppet Plays
Storybook Puppet Theater offers the retelling of some classic fairytales and some inspired inventions that will charm both princes and princesses alike, not to mention kings and queens of all ages.

Rumpelstiltskin: To impress the King the Miller boasts that his daughter is so skilled at the wheel and spindle that she can spin straw into gold.  But she can’t without the help of a little old man with a crooked old nose, and such help comes at a price.  How will the vexed maiden ever save her father, her child, and her kingdom? “Round and round the wheel will spin, will she ever find out his name is…?!”  This story is an adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairytale of the same name.

Daniel and The Wild Man: After stumbling into an enchanted river our young hero discovers that even a simple gardener’s boy can become a knight in shining armor.  Everyone is scared of the Wild Man, but Daniel finds that his friendship makes all his wishes come true.  This story is based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale Iron Hans.

Veronica the Princess Dragon:  When a mean and ill-tempered princess is turned into a dragon she must prove to herself and others that she can truly be a princess at heart.  But! Can she change her ways before the champion knight finds her and takes her off to be caged forever?

Princess MiKaylee and the Boulder: The King has had it with his entire people thinking only of themselves, but what can he do?  To help him find a person worthy to be his heir, his clever daughter devises a plan that involves a bag of gold, a deep hole, and one huge, gigantic, enormous boulder in the middle of the road.  You have got to wonder if Princess Mikaylee is looking under the right rock for the right person.
